This website is about gothic / dark artists and bands. It's not only traditional gothic music, it includes industrial, electronic, dark folk music, dark ambient, noise, etc. The point is people have different ways to understand what gothic music is and I prefer talking about "dark music" here, because the limit between gothic and not gothic is personal. You can find these kind of artists / bands in magazines and other mediums related to gothic culture. I didn't include gothic metal, because I've got another website, Metal DB, with only metal bands. I think respect is the only word here. Respect each other's tastes and thoughts, please. If you don't like an artist, this place is not here for this, its goal is to be a database for people who want to discover these several musical genres and artists.
There are many information about bands and artists (that you can find on Wikipedia, many websites and their official sites) if you know them. In this idea, my aim is to help people discovering new bands / artists and new musical genres. I prefer focusing on the music, so I want to add some YouTube links with songs. Artists and bands relies to musical genres, so there are links between them.
